Welcome to FYI: This section of our web site has been changed to include four sub-sections Quotable Quotes, Our Daily Wood and Hot Links. Quotable Quotes includes the thought-provoking perspectives of scientists, historians, foresters and authors we've interviewed in Evergreen Magazine over the last 18 years. Our Daily Wood features our four-pound block of wood (found for sale on the on-line store) that is the volumetric equivalent of the average amount of wood consumed daily by every person on earth. Our message is simple and straightforward: the world should be using more wood, not less. Thanks to Greenpeace co-founder, Dr. Patrick Moore, and New Zealand botanist, chemist and economist, Dr. W.R.J. "Wink" Sutton for their help in crafting this message. We've interviewed both gentlemen in past Evergreen Magazine issues, most recently "The Bountiful Harvest, Fall 2001 and "The Truth About America's Forests", Spring 2003.
