“Nature” is indiscriminate. From an ecological standpoint, man-made boundaries are not the best solution. When we plan within arbitrary boundaries that nature does not recognize, we leave the land and the people at risk. To truly adjust our care and management of the land in accordance with nature, we must plan across boundaries.

We, and our future generations will have to live with the consequences and choices of our actions or inactions. Tribal and public landholders must come together to address the current and long term needs and issues attached to the vast amount of land in our care.
