It is time to further public policy that enables an innovative, culturally based, historically proven method of forest management. Sustainability in forest policy and economics are not mutually exclusive principles. Good stewardship allows us to work at managing a forest to ensure a healthy landscape, while still providing for the needs of the people.

Anchor Forests are acres of forest lands that are managed for forest health and timber production over multiple landscapes. The revenue generated and the reduced costs for risk mitigation, gives us the ability to manage a natural, renewable resource in an increasingly holistic manner.
